Failure and success

The Word For Today. Monday, 29 June 2015.   Failure and Success. '...The God of Heaven will give us success...' Nehemiah 2:20 NIV.  To turn your failures into successes you need to do two things: (1) Realise that God wants you to succeed because you’re His child. When you think about it, what good and loving parent wouldn’t? In the face of overwhelming obstacles and enemy threats, Nehemiah announced, ‘…The God of Heaven will give us success…’ and God did! (2) Realise that failure is a teaching tool. The greater the failure, the greater the opportunity to learn from it. But first you must acknowledge the teaching potential in your mistakes and commit to learning, growing and changing as a result. Thomas Edison said, ‘I’m not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.’ At 21 years old he set up his laboratory in Menlo Park, New Jersey, and became a full–time inventor. Don't limit yourself

My Friends, If you are feeling sad, you are living in the past; if you are feeling anxious, you are living in the future. Be strong enough to let go and patient enough to wait for what you deserve! For your present situation is not your final destination. Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle; no matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up, and never give up! Don't quit on yourself, don't hurt yourself, you are worth the world; things will get better; you are better than this! Limitations live only in your mind; but if you use your imagination, your possibilities becomes limitless. Don't allow your wounds to turn you into a person you are not! Rise above that hate, pain, depression and your past! You are stronger than your disorder! Finally my friend, you are not a product of your circumstances; you are a products of your decisions. Beware! Enjoy your day!!

Don't mix bad words with your bad mood

Good Day Friends, Don't mix bad words with your bad mood; you'll have many opportunities to change the mood, but you'll never get the opportunity to replace the words you spoke. Be sure to taste your words before you spit them out... Be careful! Yes, be careful what you say, you can say something hurtful in ten seconds, but ten years later, the wounds are still there; and an action committed in anger is an action doomed to failure. On the contrary, kind words do not cost much, yet they accomplish much! The tongue has no bones, but is strong enough to break a heart; again I say, be careful with your words! Don't let negative and toxic people rent space in your head! For a few nice words can help a person a lot more than you think! It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. Enjoy your day!! Contributed by Jumoke Akinriade.

STOP TRACKING MISTAKES , FORGIVE YOURSELF

Good Morning My Friends, Mind-Set #1: Stop keeping track of the mistakes you've made; it's time to forgive yourself;.and when you finally let go of the past something better comes along. Forget what hurt you, bit never forget what it taught you! Forget the past and move on! Let go! You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one! Stop pressing rewind on the things that need to be deleted from your life! Forgive and forget, it may not change the past, but it gives the future a chance! Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you or makes you happy! You can't go back and change the past, so look to the future and don't make the same mistake twice! You are more that all your past mistakes! Your past is just a story, and once you realize this, it'd have no power over you; evaluate your past, focus on the future and act now! Enjoy your day!! Contributed by Jumoke Akinrinmade
