Nigeria faced with worst scarcity

The current fuel scarcity can conveniently be described as the worst ever.

For a country that is 3rd largest producer of crude oil, with 4 non functional refinery that cannot not take care of local consumption. Sadly billion of $ have been spent by current and past governments for turnaround maintenance.

Barely few days to the end of Goodluck Jonathan Administration fuel sells of between N300 to N400 in major cities in Nigeria. We have not have it this worse in the history of Nigeria.

The county have continued to depend on exportation of crude oil and importation of regined fuel. This has Been done over the Years with controversial Payment of subsidy which has been severally described as scam.

Why can't Nigeria produce refined products, why are the refineries in comatose, what is exactly true position on subsidy, these are some of the questions the new administration will need to find answers for as they chat a new and hopefully a better course for Nigeria in oil industry and generally for all sectors of the nation.

It is no brainer that the nation need some magic. And expectations are high from all angles.it is a nation waiting for Miracle, it my hope that things will indeed change .
