Rejoice in the Lord Always:

[4] Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
1 Thessalonians 5:16,19 KJV
[16] Rejoice evermore. [19] Quench not the Spirit.

When God says something one it’s valid, when he says it twice it means he want us to pay greater attention.

Paul himself the time he wrote the Letter to Phillipians he was not in great situation.

God want us to rejoice because he does not want this current situation or whatever we are passing through to overwhelm us.

To be joyful is different from being happy, you can be happy because something is happening now, once those things ceases, the happiness cease also.Joy is our inheritance and nature.

Isa61v10
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,

—-You need to know that God loves you even more than yourself.

Joy is not a absence of sorrow, but joy in the mist of sorrow:

The curve of live is not always ascending, but it also descend in fast it can descend geometrically in short time like that of Job.

Paul despite all disappointments, depression, shipwrecks, beating and imprisonments he is still taking about rejoice always.

Joy is one of the Instruments in the arsenal of Paul.

Consequences of Rejoicing:

1. The Joy of the Lord Gives Strength

Worship is an act of rejoicing, as he worship him his chains were loosed

5. Rejoice open the doors of Prison

7. When you rejoice in the Lord Barrenness turns to fruitfulness
